Sasha Zitser

Teaching Contemporary in Chicago

Sasha Zitser is a passionate and versatile dancer with 17 years of experience and a rich, diverse training background that spans ballet, hip hop, contemporary, ballroom, jazz, and more. She has trained with Extensions Dance Company, The Colony, and a variety of prestigious dance conventions, including ASH and NYCDA, among others. Currently a student at Chapman University, Sasha is pursuing two Bachelor's degrees in Dance and Communications, and she is minoring in Business of Entertainment within the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. She continues to train in Los Angeles, balancing rigorous academic study with ongoing professional development. Recent and notable collaborations include work with Erica Klein for her recent fall show, entitled "Masters," at Chapman, and with Martin Ortiz Tapia for the Palm Desert Choreography Festival, as well as a performance at Reconstruct Exhibition. Additionally, she has worked under the direction of Danyel Moulton with her company, VMO, both competing and participating in music videos. She has also had the privilege of working with a diverse group of choreographers, including Danyel Moulton, Lizzie Mackenzie, Hanna Bricston, Jackie Nowicki, Christian Denice, and others.
